Chief Executive Officer
Description
As CEO for Canada, you will lead the organisation’s national strategy, driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Global Managing Director and working closely with an international executive team, you will ensure alignment with global priorities while responding to Canada’s evolving labour market, policy landscape, and education sector needs.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will identify and secure new business opportunities, build high-value partnerships, and expand the organisation’s footprint across Canada. At the same time, you will oversee program delivery, financial performance, and compliance, ensuring sustainable impact and strong outcomes.
A key part of your mandate will be fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture—championing innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Mandate:
- Lead national growth strategy, including business development and market expansion
- Build and maintain partnerships with government, industry, and community stakeholders
- Oversee operations, ensuring performance, compliance, and financial sustainability
- Contribute to global strategy as part of the executive leadership team
- Drive innovation in service delivery, workforce development, and education programs
- Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team
- Commitment to act in a manner which promotes and protects the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
Required Skills
About You:
- Post-Graduate Qualifications in a Business-related discipline is highly desired
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in leadership, employment services, workforce development or related sectors
- Strong commercial acumen with experience securing and managing government contracts
- Deep understanding of the Canadian labour market and policy environment
- Proven ability to lead growth, transformation, and multi-stakeholder partnerships
- Collaborative, purpose-driven leader with a global mindset
