Regional Sales Manager
PEO Canada is partnering with our client, a global leader in nutritional foods, in finding a Regional Sales Manager to service Quebec-Eastern Canada. Based ideally out of Toronto, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving brand sales in alignment with the company’s strategic direction, revenue goals, and long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Regional Key Account Manager for designated retailers within the local market.
- Implement, manage, and measure promotional strategies and spending with retailers, distributors, and brokers.
- Develop compelling sales presentations and materials in collaboration with Marketing; deliver presentations to brokers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Coordinate retail activities and initiatives with broker/distributor partners for assigned accounts.
- Attend trade shows, distributor shows, retailer functions, and customer meetings as required
- Monitor distribution, retail pricing, competitive activity, and category performance; provide timely insights and reports.
- Support the annual Business Plan development and execution process
- Implement category management best practices with brokers, distributors, and key retail accounts.
- Leverage syndicated and internal data to inform recommendations on assortment, shelf placement, SKU rationalization, and category trends.
- Partner with Sales & Marketing leadership to create planograms and close white-space opportunities.
- Maintain fiscal accountability for assigned customers, including deductions, terms, slotting, pricing accuracy, and trade fund stewardship.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and reporting expectations.
- Support annual budget planning and forecasting processes
Required Skills
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Quebecois French (spoken and written).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field required. (Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.)
- 3+ years of sales experience in CPG, food, or related industries, with a strong preference for natural/specialty foods or health-focused brands.
- Proven success managing key retail accounts, brokers and/or distributors
- Ability to travel up to 50–60% within the region and in the U.S as business needs.
- Valid driver’s license required.
