Regional Sales Manager

Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, the Regional Sales (Development) Manager will help to drive business growth, and market expansion within an assigned region that includes a team of Client Development Specialists who handle all prospecting and lead generation efforts. The Regional Sales (Development) Manager plays a critical role in ensuring sales strategies and target goals align with company objectives.

Description

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining a dynamic sales driven culture within our Calgary office.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Client Development Specialist’s to maximize prospecting effectiveness to support with company client growth
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team members meet and exceed lead generation targets.
  • Lead by example in identifying new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients
  • In conjunction with the Chief Business Development Officer, set clear goals and expectations, monitor individual and team performance, and implement strategies for continues improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and professional development within the team.
  • Recruit and build motivated and dynamic team members.
  • Collaborate and develop quarterly sales training with other Regional Sales (Development) Managers chasing standardization across Canada.
  • Drive process improvements in lead management, sales workflows, and CRM utilization to enhance team efficiency
  • Represent our company at industry conferences, networking events, and business forums to enhance brand visibility
  • Partner with Business Units to ensure a proactive approach to optimize prospect opportunities converted to client accounts
