Technical Implementation Engineer I
PEO Canada in partnership with our client, a global leader in energy management solutions, is seeking a Technical Implementation Engineer I to join their team. In this role, you will act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and work cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, SQA, Product Management, and Project Management teams to deliver high-quality solutions to customers.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and drive them to resolution
- Own and maintain test environments and lab infrastructure supporting deployment
- Develop use cases and demonstrate system functionality to improve customer-facing test suites
- Support System Acceptance Testing (SAT) for new deployments
- Assist with First Article Testing (FAT) and monitor manufacturing processes
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure all CRM tickets are fully documented and resolved or escalated within SLA timelines
- Proactively follow up on technical issues to ensure timely and accurate resolution
- Support software installations, upgrades, and post-implementation activities
- Test beta software releases and identify gaps in documentation
- Participate in root cause analysis for system issues during deployments
- Collaborate across teams to resolve technical challenges
Required Skills
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server (preferred)
- Familiarity with wireless technologies (a plus)
- Experience in software QA/testing (preferred)
- Knowledge of utility industry operations (an asset)
- Experience with Windows/Unix systems, networking, or scripting (a plus)
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree required
- Experience working with both software and hardware systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
