PEO Canada is partnering with its client, a Calgary based energy company, in hiring an Office Administrator to join their team in the downtown core. This position is an in-office opportunity; working Monday – Thursday. Every weekend is a long weekend!

Description

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Support technical teams (Engineering, Geology, Operations, Production and Land) with Data analysis and interpretation Preparation of spreadsheets.
  • Other technical opportunities will be governed by candidate aptitude, engagement and capabilities Manage the reception area and office coordination, greet visitors and handle incoming telephone calls in a professional manner.
  • Distribute incoming and outgoing mail, including courier packages.
  • Coordinate office supplies, kitchen orders and other deliveries
  • Serve as the primary contact for building services, office functions and IT issues.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Required Skills

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:

  • The ideal candidate will be a reliable, hardworking individual who can perform both routine and non-routine tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Previous Oil and Gas experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel knowledge.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills.
