PEO Canada supports your employees with enrollment, collecting and remitting contributions to the insurer, withdrawals, transfers and changes.
PEO Canada handles the full administration of the plan. An employer’s only obligation is to contribute funds as per the policy you have in place. Once the funds are deposited into each employee’s account, you have no further obligations or control over the contributions. Once contributed, the funds are fully owned by the employee to do with as they wish. Employees are responsible for the investment of funds within their RRSP accounts. PEO Canada has fiduciary responsibility for the plan. There are strict guidelines and legislation regarding RRSPs in Canada. The insurer and the Canada Revenue Agency ensure our group plan adheres to the regulations.
