Client Development Specialist
Description
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and decision-makers within target industries.
• Generate high-quality leads through cold outreach, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
• Development of local Partnerships in order to generate new opportunities and to provide additional support to clients and prospects
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to foster relationships and expand market presence.
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to expand the company’s footprint.
• Provide insights into market trends, competitive activity, and client needs to inform sales and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with the Customer Engagement Consultants to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of prospects interactions, lead status, and opportunities in the company’s CRM system.
• Meet or exceed KPI weekly targets for lead generation, prospect qualification, and sales opportunities.
• Weekly report on progress, challenges, and opportunities to leadership.
• Complete reports- expenses, activity reports, and others as required.
• Attend weekly sales meetings

- Improve knowledge and skills through continuous learning.
- Regularly update your Manager on progress of prospects, partners and events
- Proactively develop personal action plans that align with company’s strategic direction.
- Learn and understand your market, industry, and competition.
- Ensure accountabilities listed below are completed accurately within deadlines.
Required Skills
Accountabilities:
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of PEO Canada’s multitude of offerings, our industry, and our competition.
- Responsible for identifying and targeting potential clients within the defined market segments.
- Proactively identify and engage potential clients cold calling, emails, LinkedIn Navigator and other prospecting techniques.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a pipeline of qualified prospects. Follow up on leads generated at events to convert them into qualified opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a steady flow of qualified leads weekly to help build up a pipeline of potential business development opportunities.
- Assess and qualify prospects to ensure they align with our company’s ideal client profile and are a good fit for our company’s services.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.
- Identify a consistent pool of prospects by working with weekly KPI expectations
- Attend various local community networking events and trade shows
- Continue to identify appropriate events to attend that may produce new prospect and
partner opportunities, establish contacts, and identify market trends. - Gather critical information about the prospects needs, pain points, and decision making process.
- Attend meetings as a PEO Canada representative at the direction of the Company
- Other duties as assigned.
